§ 01 — About

A quick introduction.

Digital Enterprise Management graduate at the University of Toronto who builds brands that resonate, designs with purpose, and turns data into action.

With hands-on experience in marketing, design, and tech — from interning at JA Canada to helping launch early-stage startups — I blend analytical thinking with visual storytelling to deliver measurable impact.

I've led social campaigns that grew audiences by thousands, presented at global internet governance conferences like ICANN 79, and thrive in both fast-paced startups and structured corporate settings.

Whether I'm designing cohesive brand assets in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, or analyzing marketing performance with PowerBI, I bring a balance of creative design and technical problem-solving to every project.

Hi, I'm Nashrah.

When I'm not designing campaigns or staring at analytics dashboards, you'll find me painting, sipping chai, or planning the next event with my community.

I grew up in Oakville, studied at UofT Mississauga, and have spent the last few years building things — brands, social systems, and one small henna business of my own.

Built an end-to-end content system for The Oakville Times across five platforms — Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn — covering municipal elections, school board news, neighbourhood events, and a long-running "Oakville Inspired" recipe series. Visual treatments stayed cohesive enough to stamp the brand on every post, varied enough to keep the feed alive.

Two years running marketing for the Pakistan Student Association at UofT Mississauga — planning campaigns for events like Chamak, Mehfil-e-Suroor Qawwali Night, Lamhay, and the Ramadan Fundraiser with Umeed Foundation. Each event identity carried cultural craft — typography that referenced Urdu calligraphy, palettes drawn from textiles, layouts that felt like the event itself.
